On some systems there are multiple devices registered as video inputs. Sometimes flash selects something else than your webcam (DV Video, Firewire Video, TV Tunner...). All you have to do is to select the right device that represents your webcam.

In VideoWhisper webcam applications you just have to click the webcam preview panel and some settings will show. Click the one with the webcam icon next to it and select the right webcam from flash settings.

In all flash applications that use webcams you can do these:
    * Right click on the Flash (website/app) you are visiting
    * Click ’Settings…’ in the right click dialog box
    * Click the webcam tab
    * Change your camera to the right webcam device (i.e. ‘USB Video Class Video’ ) - test multiple until you get the right one if you're not sure

 This webcam issue often occurs on MacBooks as listed on this post.

 Flash settings dialog box to change certain settings like the webcam.
